Job becomes locked for editing after a cost center lock is applied via the API

Post by VincentHoang » Mon May 04, 2026 6:30 am

Hi Team,
We’ve identified an issue where jobs become locked for editing after applying a cost center lock via the API:
https://developer.simprogroup.com/apido ... e677b89f4f

This does not occur for every job where the lock is applied, but in some cases the job becomes completely uneditable. To restore access, I currently need to remove the cost center lock via the API before the user can edit the job again.

Is this a known issue, or is there a recommended way to prevent or resolve it?
