Hi there,
Recently our posts to the Lead endpoint is creating an error:
Endpoint:
Code: Select all
[POST] /api/v1.0/companies/4/leads/
Request:
Code: Select all
{
"Customer": 59634,
"Site": 65046,
"CustomerContact": 63079,
"SiteContact": 63079,
"Stage": "Open",
"Description": "Test Description",
"Notes": "Test Notes"
}
Response:
Code: Select all
422 Unprocessable Entity
{
"errors": [
{
"path": "/Stage",
"message": "This API Column does not allow POST requests.",
"value": "Open"
}
]
}
The documentation states that "Stage" is an acceptable column in the Request:

Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Sean.

Been told the issue would be fixed in the next update on March 23... but it's now March 26 and I've still got the same problem.
My IT guy said this today when looked into it...
Checking this now in your account, unfortunately we still receive the following error when attempting to process a Lead into your SimPRO using their API, so unfortunately this issue still persists, and they would need to review further before this can be activated again:
This API Column does not allow POST requests. (HTTP Status Code: 422)

Hi cmelecqld,
The fix was released in 25.1.6. Could you check your Simpro version please?
Also, removing Stage from the post payload is a quick wrokaround to bypass this issue. and the lead will be created with Open stage by default.
