Hi,
Our build is returning the following error every 2nd or 3rd call. The call is irrelevant.
Code: Select all
{"success":false,"errors":[{"message":"Service Unavailable","code":503}],"messages":[],"result":[],"resultInfo":[]}
The SimPro status page is reporting no issues.
Please advise ASAP.
Thanks.

I have been in touch with the SimPRO help desk and they told me that the API Developers will report any updates on this thread.

16+ hours to respond is completely outrageous given the magnitude of the outage...
I was told by phone support at the time I created this post that the information was passed on to the API developers then.
Why did it take so long to get a response!!??
The issue has resolved but that doesn't really provide any confidence given that this is not the first time an outage like this has occurred.
Can we get the API status on the main SimPRO status page? This will reduce the frustration if we have transparency of what is going on.

Hi,
The forum is not monitored outside of work hours and is not the right place to report outages.
If you have enquiries or require an update outside of that time, contacting support is the best option.
Regarding this particular issue, it seems that one of the API server in Australia was under heavy load, and was scaled shortly after you reported the issue.
We are currently examining the process to get the status page updated when there is an issue with the API.
Regards,
Thomas

I am currently receiving an unexpected response of an entire HTML document back from API requests.
It renders as:
"Maintenance
We are currently performing maintenance on your build. Thanks for your patience.
View Status Page"
Can I request that this returns a HTTP Response in the 500 range, not the 200 OK it is returning right now?
Thanks.

Hi Thomas,
I did contact support and they told me that all API related questions or issues, including outages, needed to be reported on this forum.
Can we please have a clear process to address these issues moving forward?
Thanks.
