Delete/Remove a Customer Tag

Post by stuart007 » Tue Jun 04, 2024 1:28 pm

Is there a way to delete a specific customer tag.

Currently from what I could find, I would have to retrieve the tags for the customer, remove the particular tag ID from the array of current tags, and then POST back to the customer the new set of tag ID's with the one of interest removed.

I don't really care what other tags are set, I just want to remove a specific one.

Thanks

Hi stuart007,
There is no way of removing an individual tag from a customer.

As you suggest you must retrieve the tags from a customer and remove the specific tag from the array and use PATCH to update the customer with the remaining tag ID's.

You can search for customers that has a specific tag if that is helpful by searching for the tag name like this:

Code: Select all

/customers/?Tags.Name=Test tag
