Schedule Comparison

Post by Msharp » Wed Oct 18, 2023 8:10 am

Hi,
Trying to develop a BI report based on the 'Schedule Comparison' report already in Simpro. Any information on where the planned versus actual job time is located would be appreciated. We are using a thrid party API to access the tables, we think we are missing a number of tables with the information.
Thanks

Hi GTacs,
Unfortunately I do not know how this report is compiled or getting data as it's not available through the Rest API.

You can try to contact our Simpro helpdesk who are familiar with Simpro premium and might have some overview over the BI functionality.

See contact details here:

Hi GTacs and Msharp,
I just want to follow up on your posts regarding information about job time as there might have been a misunderstanding that you were after BI reporting data and not API data.

If you want job times from a work order you can find it here in the cost centre work order endpoint:
https://developer.simprogroup.com/apido ... 9050a003bf

Also, if there is other info you need from the API please provide an example and screen shot of where this data is in Simpro and we will do our best to help you get the same data in the API.

Hi Matthew,
This data is not currently available in our API. The schedules and work orders only contain the actual times and not planned.

I have moved your post to the feature request channel so it can be evaluated for future development.

Please note that we can not give a time estimate for new features but follow our release notes for new functionality added to the API.
