SimPRO Dynamic AX 2009

Post by RyanHuynh » Tue Jun 06, 2023 11:06 pm

Hi All,
Currently we are using SimPRO Premium version and want to integrate SimPRO with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to make SimPRO as one-stop solution for our team. Hence, I want to clarify some information about SimPRO for better understanding and integrations.
1. What is the integration capability of SimPRO?
2. How is the Database stored in SimPRO? Is it SQL backend? What is the database management system (DBMS) used by simPRO?
3. How can the external software read and write data from and to SimPRO?
4. Has Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 been integrated with SimPRO before?

Thank you!

Hi RyanHuynh

whilst that sounds like a powerful integration we do not currently have a point-to-point integration with MS Dynamics. The simPRO API Framework as documented in https://developer.simprogroup.com/apidoc/ would be the way to read and write data from and to simPRO; using this framework means that you do not need to be concerned about the backend structure as the framework abstracts the business rules away from the database.

We can provide access to our sandbox for you to test any integration that you are writing yourself, alternatively there are integration partners (contactable in this forum) who can undertake the work for you.

Regards

Nige

Hi Nige,

Could help to provide the sandbox for us to test? Concurrently, we are also exploring the integration partners that could help me on it. Hence, I am appreciated if I could have the contact of the recommended partners as well.

Thank you and regards,
Ryan.
