[Released]Job Attachment Upload via API Not Updating Job DateModified

Hi team,

We have discovered that when an attachment is uploaded via the API to a Job, the DateModified field on the Job is not being updated to match the date the file was uploaded.

This doesn't seem to be intended behaviour, as uploading a file via the UI does update the DateModified field.

To replicate this issue, we are querying the Job endpoint (e.g. api/v1.0/companies/#/jobs/#) to get the DateModified, uploading a file via the /attachments/files endpoint, and then querying the Job again to check if the DateModified was updated.

Please let us know if this is able to be resolved as our integration depends on the DateModified field for querying Jobs that have changed since the last run of our service and is missing Jobs where files were uploaded via the API.

I have tested and verified the bug you have pointed out to us. Thank you!

We've created an issue to fix this but we can not give a timeline of when it will be completed. Please follow our release notes to see the latest updates to the API.

Appreciate the response Sindre.

I haven't tested them myself, but might be worth checking other entities that have file attachments (e.g. Leads, Quotes, etc) to see if they are affected by the same bug too.

Will keep an eye on the patch notes in the meantime.
