Thanks Muqeet,
Me mentioning schedules and one-offs was just an example - I wasn't asking about just those 2 specicially. The point is, it's completely opaque as to how exactly totals are calculated - we don't even know which bits we're missing.
On the jobs endpoint you get for instance:
Code: Select all
"Totals": {
"MaterialsCost": {
"Actual": 1.57,
"Committed": 1.57,
"Estimate": 1.57,
"Revised": 1.57,
"Revized": 1.57
},
"ResourcesCost": {
"Total": {
"Actual": 1.57,
"Committed": 1.57,
"Estimate": 1.57,
"Revised": 1.57,
"Revized": 1.57
},
"Labor": {},
"LaborHours": {},
"PlantAndEquipment": {},
"PlantAndEquipmentHours": {},
"Overhead": {}
},
...etc
So my question is - how is Totals->MaterialsCost->Actual, and Totals->ResourcesCost->Total->Actual, and the others, calculated?
While these values are useful, we can only see them for the whole job up to the present. We can't see what eg the actuals were for February only on a job. And jobs can span many months. We'll have to recalculate it from scratch using all the other endpoints, but without knowing EXACTLY what goes into those totals, this seems like an almost impossible task.
Is there any way you can find out and tell us the calculations for those Totals fields? This must be available somewhere, as it's used everywhere inside the app.
Thanks,
Johann
