500 - Internal server error

Hello guys,

I am facing internal server error while getting jobs from simpro api. Somethimes it is working, but sometimes it is returning 500 internal server error.
Following is the api endpoint and payload I am using:

API endpoint - https://durkin.simprosuite.com/api/v1.0 ... ess&page=1
Method - GET
Payload - {}
headers - {
'content-type': 'application/json',
'accept': 'application/json',
'Authorization': 'Bearer Token'
'If-Modified-Since': 'Mon, 24 Aug 2020 06:00:00 GMT'
}
These errors start occuring on UTC time 06:00, before that it is working fine. There is no 500, internal server error before that.

Hello Harpreet,

It might be a temporary network issue. The URL seems to be working fine without any errors at the moment. Do let us know if you get those errors again.

Hi Muqeet,

We are experiencing frequent 500 errors when accessing multiple endpoints.

They are interment yet very frequent. It is causing our systems to be unusable.

I have raised the issue with SimPro support and they directed me to this forum.

Please advise.

Hi this is definitely an issue. API calls that have worked twice daily for over a year now are failing. Maybe something to do with AU/NZ server issues?

Getting a response of below instead of an actual response.

Hi All

I've been experiencing these issues intermittently since Friday last week.

It was resolved for one day on Wednesday, but like spolascek says above it was down again on Thursday.

Sorry Rick after you said it was resolved, we still experienced errors on our side.

This is becoming very tiresome and frustrating. Why is the API so unstable at the moment?
