New To simPro

Post by j12obrien » Mon Jul 15, 2019 9:37 pm

Hello everyone,

I am new to simPro and currently going through training videos offered by simPro.

My question/discussion i am trying to figure out is if there is a way to get a development environment? My previous job was a software engineer and I am used to playing around / breaking stuff in dev before pushing anything out to live. Does simPro offer something like this?

Also any tips for a newbie would be greatly appreciated!

Hi j12obrien,

Sorry for the late reply and welcome to our forum, we do offer a dev enviroment for you to play with (sandbox), I'll get our tech team to contact with you and set up a login for you.

Once you have the login access, you can then start exploring our system via our API or web interface.

our API uses OAuth2 authentication and communicate in RESTful way so any libraries/programming languages that support both will get you start quicker.

please do not feel hesitate to contact us if you have any questions/issues.

cheers,

Rick
