Find SiteID from Site Name

Find SiteID from Site Name

Hi Everyone,

Trying to put together a simple API integration with our on-premise CRM.

I've got webhooks working for the creation of jobs and quotes and uploading attachments so I thought this would be easy - but I can't seem to get this
call quite right.

I simply want to get the siteID for a site based on the site name - we only have name in one system but we need siteid for the job and quote creation.
I could do this in a standalone table but would prefer to simply request when required (this also allows me to create missing sites later on).

I'm calling:

GET https://xxx.simprosuite.com/api/v1.0/co ... tes/?Name="{{ ['Site name Simpro'] }}" but keep getting blank arrays.

Can anyone assist?

Have you tried adding the wildcard by including the percent operator (%25)?

GET /api/v1.0/companies/?Name=Comp%25

Your query parameter to get sites based on its name is correct, you just have to remove the quotation marks and it should work as expected.
