Forum rules

Work Orders API

Hi Gents,

I'm looking to delete a work order via API, but the option seems missing from the documentation. Deleting the schedule doesn't remove the associated work order, which leaves ghost work orders behind, causing confusion and data to be out of sync.

In Simpro's TimeSheet app, discarding time entries for a Job also deletes the work order. How can I achieve this via the API?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Currently we do not have the ability to delete a work order/job card via API.

We wil add this to our back log and our team will carefully review your request to assess its relevance and feasibility.

Hi thanks for your answer, I was wondering if there is at least a way to remove the blocks from the work order?

Hi gterra,
I did some tests and as I can see you can delete the schedule associated with the cost center using this endpoint, and this removed the block on the related Job work order.

Please try this and see if it works for you .
