Multiple Employees of the same Contractor

Multiple Employees of the same Contractor
Can a contractor have multiple employees within the Simpro System? We currently have multiple records that have essentially the same content but with contact details changed (same company name, same ABN, same address, but different contact name, phone number, etc.)

Hi bgur,
For contractors there is an option to add a new contact. simPRO will create a duplicate of the Contractor you are editing so all company information will be the same but you can assign a new contact name.
You can also change the contractor details on the new record if you wish to separate them. They will have different ID's in the system but will appear similar if the details are not changed when creating a new contact.

Hi,
When we receive the contractor's invoice - it is one bill for all their staff - can i pick the contractors and only enter 1 bill

Hi,
They are called 'contacts' in the Contractor Card. If you open a Contractor Card, in the 'Details' tab, under the 'Contractor Company Name' field, there is a 'New Contact' option. You can add in a new contact/employee for the contractor here and when you go to create a new Work Order, you will select the Contractor Company, then have the option to select a specific employee.
In the card it's 'Contact' but when you go to select the 'contact' in the work order, it's listed as 'Employee', in case that causes any confusion.
