Webhook Events for Contacts/Employees/Contractors etc...

Wish the API had something it doesn't? Post here!

Webhook Events for Contacts/Employees/Contractors etc...

Hi,

Currently the webhook events for Contacts, Company Customer, Individual Customer, Employee, and Site support the following events:

-Created
-Updated
-Deleted

I would imagine that in most use cases, people aren't "Deleting" customer/employee records, but rather "Archiving" them. An "Archived" event would therefore be much more useful than a "Deleted" event.

I imagine that the same would be true for Projects, Quotes, etc...

Would you consider adding this to the API roadmap?...

Hi bgur,
Thank you for your suggestion. Today archiving an employee for example will trigger the employee updated webhook but I understand your need for a separate notifciation for archived. Or alternatively additional info on the update webhook.

I will move your post to our feature request section for evaluation.

Please note that we can not give a time line for new features as we are constantly prioritising the work that give the most benefits to all our users.
