Hi SIMPRO,
My API which concurrently downloads Jobs, Employees, Schedules is hanging as below.
Nothing has changed code wise or environment wise on our end. When I rerun the code the next day I have no issue. Our process starts at 7pm every night.
We have had several weeks of non issue.
Please investigate.
Tiago

Re: Timing out requests - Jobs, Schedules
Please note in my code I'm setting timeout to zero, which is why I'm probably getting no movement (which I may undo today).
Re: Timing out requests - Jobs, Schedules
Hi Tiago,
as far as we know there is no major issues/changes to infra that could cause problem like that, could you please keep an eye on it and let us know if it happened again?
cheers,

Re: Timing out requests - Jobs, Schedules
No worries,
I might re-compile without my timeout = 0 on my code. This might generate errors and will have more to report.
This has happened last two days now. I just re-ran the code and it worked again.

Re: Timing out requests - Jobs, Schedules
The issue is still persisting. Over the weekend no issue.
We had this issue earlier in the year and resolved it by moving our process to later in the night. I suspect your server is maxing out with requests perhaps?
It errored again after starting the process at 7pm last night. Do you have a way of monitoring loads on your server and suggesting times we can extract all data?

Re: Timing out requests - Jobs, Schedules
Hi All,
I was able to produce errors "<class 'concurrent.futures._base.TimeoutError'>". This is the schedule call, where we are pulling 200 records at a time.
Should I reduce this?
