250 records per page? Can I go higher

Hi SIMPRO,

Documentation suggests we need to request 250 records per page, however, you can actually feed in a higher number to pageSize.

I was wondering if in our API design we should strictly adhere to this 250 size number or if we can go higher (without timing out the request of course).

Going higher than 250 may make our API faster if we pulled 500 or more records for eg.

Please advise.

Tiago

Hi Tiago,

Thank you for your message, we are aware of the issue that allow you to fetch more than 250 records in a request, this will be fixed in the next few releases so I would suggest you not to go any higher than 250 for now.

I'll move this topic to feature and we will work something out if we see more developers request for it. : )

cheers,

Rick

Hi Rick,

We would also like to be able to request more records than 250 where possible.

Thanks
Michelle

Hello Stewart,

The maximum number of resources you can fetch is still 250 in a request. At the moment we do not have any plans to increase this limit.
