Frustrating glitch - quotes & invoice notifications sent without hitting 'SEND'

I've raised this with the Support team, and they've said to raise it in this forum, but in quotes or invoices when I click on the PDF to preview it before sending, the customer gets sent an SMS notification saying that the quote or invoice has been sent.
I've set up this notification to be sent, as customers sometimes have the quotes and invoices filtered into spam folders. But I'm not actually hitting send in the quote or invoice. I'm just opening the PDF.
I still want the customer to receive the SMS after I actually hit send, but I can't seem to do that with the prompts available... unless I'm missing something?
