Hi,
Is there an API POST request to create a linked variations against Jobs?
I cannot locate this in the documentation but this would be a very valuable update, if you can create a job via the API then a linked job would be useful - in our industry, we have on average 7 linked variations per job (due to design changes over time as our projects having a build programme into the years on avg around 3.5 years).
If it doesnt already exist can this please be added to the feature request and considered for development please?

Hi John,
It's currently not an option to create linked variations through the API.
If you do GET on a job it will display if a job has linked variations and a list of the variations but they have to be set up in Simpro.
I will add your post to out Feature request channel so it will be evaluated for future development.

We have just gone to a multi-company build and we're migrating c. 900 jobs with 6/7 variations each, so over 6,300 jobs, it's not great that we can create the 900 jobs, but then manually need to add 5,400 jobs is going to be massively time consuming.
Is there anything else you can suggest? - could you/development team write the jobs directly to the database?
