simPRO REST API 1.0 Released!

Post by rob.ormond » Thu May 31, 2018 4:26 am

Hi everyone,
We're excited to announce that from the 27th of May 2018 we have started rolling out our new RESTful API to all our customer's environments.

You can read all about the different functions and features by looking through our documentation, found at http://developer.simprogroup.com

The goal for this first release was to replicate the functionality of our legacy API in a new, RESTful way, while also improving a few areas like authentication changing to OAuth 2.0 or API Keys.

This is the culmination of many months of work and we hope it makes it much easier for you to integrate your other applications/systems with simPRO.

We will continue to work on the API, upcoming releases will provide greater coverage of the functionality of simPRO within the API and also provide the ability to use web-hooks to be notified of changes in simPRO.

Thanks, until next time.
Rob
