Hi,
I am trying to integrate Splunk with simPro. While I make an API call to simPro, I am getting only a request ID.
Could anyone help me out, how to make an API call to fetch the data from simPro. We have several Open Jobs in simPro, as per our business requirement I have to pull all the data from simPro to Splunk, which are related to the Job and Task like, Name of Job and associated Tasks. Creation date, due date, Completed date, etc..

Please post an example of your API call URL, what data you're expecting to retrieve, and what you actually are getting. Can't help you without that basic info.

Somehow we manged to get the data however we have some issue with fields.

The API response appears to be malformed as it has <BR /> tags in it which is html line break rather than the Json we are expecting according to the api reference, it is also missing the project due date (called start date in simpro see picture).

Job timelines is a list of brief job details or you can call them events. Timeline can have different type of messages (schedule, customer notes, purchase order, job card, invoice, task, etc).

There seems to be an issue with task within timelines endpoint. You should be able to see the list of task separately and not just separated by a line break. We are working on a fix as we speak.

Start date mentioned in the attachment can be retrieved from timeline Type 'General Message', or you can just get that from job endpoint's 'DateIssued' field. Similarly due date 'DueDate' can also be retrieved from job's endpoint.

In case you are referring to due date of task, that can be obtained from the job task endpoint. Please refer to the following documentation link.
