API - Vendor Order allocations across multiple Jobs

Hi there,

I've made tool that pulls order info using the API. One part of It I'm trying to tighten up is PO Spend. The tool currently matches the spend breakdown in a job in SimPRO just fine, but something I'm struggling to match through the API is where PO's are assigned across multiple jobs.

In a Purchase order breakdown under order details, you can see all the jobs that a purchase order is assigned to, but I can't find an endpoint that shows this.

E.g. PO 302785 is assigned to job 21214, and 21215

GET /api/v1.0/companies/0/vendorOrders/302785 - response only shows a single job in the header:

"AssignedTo": {
"Job": 21214
}

GET /api/v1.0/companies/0/vendorOrders/302785/catalogs/ - correctly returns the item rows and prices, but it does not include any job or cost centre assignment information to match up to.

GET /api/v1.0/companies/0/jobs/21214/sections/9207/costCenters/10904/catalogs/ - returns the catalog items used by the job, but there is no reference back to the Vendor Order (VendorOrderID).

Is there an API endpoint or field that exposes the link between Vendor Order items and the job/cost centre they are allocated to?

Any guidance / help is greatly appreciated.

Ben

Hi Ben,
For vendor orders they can only be assigned to one job/cost centers when created. But it does not show where the stock is allocated later.

I think you are very close to getting the information you are after, in the vendor orders catalog endpoint you tried you can get individual id's and it should give you the allocations for that catalog.

https://developer.simprogroup.com/apido ... f7f145202b

Another option that might be better is our stock allocations endpoint where you can query results based on the specific vendor order receipt ID.

Code: Select all

/stockAllocations/?Source.ID={ID}&Source.Type=Receipt
https://developer.simprogroup.com/apido ... f2cfef72e9

I hope this helps.
