Hello,
I'm encountering an issue retrieving job log entries via the API. Specifically, for Job #688532, I’ve received a sequence of job status update webhooks. However, when I query the job logs using the API, some of these status updates are missing — even though my customer (the simPRO account owner) confirms that all updates are visible in the simPRO web UI.
The webhooks were received sequentially in the following order:
Status of Job #688532 set to "Job : Employee Scheduled" – (V) exists in the log
Status of Job #688532 set to "Job : In Progress" – (X) not in the log
Status of Job #688532 set to "Job : Made Safe" – (X) not in the log
Status of Job #688532 set to "Job : Employee Scheduled" – (V) exists in the log
Status of Job #688532 set to "Job : Awaiting Parts Reference" – (X) not in the log
Status of Job #688532 set to "Job : Parts in Store" – (V) exists in the log
To retrieve log entries, I use the following API call:
GET /logs/jobs/?JobID=688532&page=<loop>
I'm not certain, but it appears that the missing log entries may correspond to actions performed by a specific staff member. This might suggest a filtering issue or a permissions-related discrepancy in how logs are exposed via the API.
Could you please help clarify why some job log entries are missing in the API response while they are visible in the web UI? Are there any known limitations or filtering behaviors in the logs endpoint?
Let me know if you need any additional details.
Thank you

Re: Missing Job Log Entries via API
Hi Ivan. I encountered what looks like the same issue. This started happening recently during an upgrade from version 24.4.1 to 25.1.4.
In my case the job log entries not being returned are those recorded for the API Application account.
See full details in my post: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2914
simPRO are investigating.
