Hi,

My customer is using the SimPro data feed to have jobs auto created. They require a script developed to update the details of the job, but i can not find a field within the Job API to help me identify such jobs. There is no Author and no ability to interogate the Job log from what i can see.

Can you please advise?

Im unfamilair with the Simpro Data Feed, but is there a way to configure it to place a specific string in the description for me to pick up?

There is no easy way to see if the job was created by data feed through the API by looking at created by info.

But you can set custom field values for jobs or customers in your feed when creating new jobs so you can filter on these later. Alternatively you can set up a specific salesperson or technician profile that is linked to Datafeed jobs and use for filtering. Ask your customers to test some different approaches and see how it works for them.
