Which webhooks get triggered and which APIs are needed to update a third party accounting system, for example Business Central?
Out of simPRO
Contractor Invoice
Supplier Invoice
Customer Invoice
Into simPRO
Customer Payment

The required API endpoints will depend on the data you are after or what you are trying to do. Check what your external program requires and use our documentation to find the right endpoints.

For webhooks I think they are mainly available for customer payments and customer invoices. You can set up a subscription and use a webhook testing site such as this to test when triggering the API or doing changes in Simpro.

To integrate simPRO with Business Central:
Out of simPRO:
Contractor Invoice: Webhook: invoice.created/updated, API: GET /invoices.
Supplier Invoice: Webhook: supplier_invoice.created/updated, API: GET /supplier-invoices.
Customer Invoice: Webhook: customer_invoice.created/updated, API: GET /customer-invoices.
Into simPRO:
Customer Payment: API: POST /payments/customer.
Contractor Payment: API: POST /payments/contractor.
Map fields accurately, handle errors, and ensure compatibility between systems. Let me know if you need detailed API payloads!
