When I retrieve a Job note from

/jobs/21179/notes/448

sometimes they have attachments in the format:

      "_href": "/common/getAttachment.php?location=SomeLongId&filename=Job_No_21179.pdf&download=0&thumbnail=0&export=0&v=1",
      "FileName": "Job_No_21179.pdf"
    },

How can I retrieve the base64 of this attachment via the API? I can't find any mention of this in the docs, and I've tried "/jobs/21179/attachments/files/SomeLongId" but that is 404

If I log into the website I can download it from

Code: Select all

https://mysubdomain.simprosuite.com/common/getAttachment.php?location=

but I need to retrieve it via the API...

Currently its not possible to get those attachments information via API.

That's a bit of a problem for us though. Do you have any plans to make these attachments accessible via the API?

Hi, wildhart,
There are currently no plans of updating the notes endpoint with functionality for attachments.

If this is something that you need or would find useful please post it in our feature request channel and it will be evaluated for future development.
