Cost center totals per invoice/jobs

We use the deprecated endpoint in order to export each cost center's current amount per job per invoice.
A couple of questions:
1) Some calls to that endpoint return an error: "Job cost center labor item was not found in this cost center.". Do you have any insight into what causes this, or if there's anything a user in Simpro should be doing (or not doing) to avoid this?
2) The reason we use this endpoint is to get a cost center breakdown for each invoice. For each one, we can access 'Claimed.Current.Amount', returning the amount assigned to this invoice/job. This is particularly useful for progress claims, where the total amount may be spread across multiple invoices, but we're only interested in one particular invoice. Without using this deprecated endpoint, it's not obvious how I can fetch the same data. For example, if I use the main invoices endpoint (/api/v1.0/companies/{companyID}/invoices/{invoiceID}), it lists all the jobs with their total values (not the values listed on this particular invoice or progress claim), and it lists all the cost centers, but there's no way to know which ones apply to this invoice (only links to the job ID, which may be associated with multiple invoices in the case of a progress claim).
Does that make sense? I can PM you specific examples if you would like.
Thanks,
Gavyn
