Hi,
First time posting on here, so please go easy.
We are currently exploring PowerBI reporting of our Simpro data via SyncEzy. Initial PowerBI consultant efforts via Synchub suggested that endpoint restriction would prevent our primary desired outcome of committed job profitability reconciliation and labour (internal and external) / material cost analysis. Further operational dashboards and KPI are sought thereafter.
When discussing the issue with an alternative PowerBI consultancy, an immediate question that arose was whether Simpro / SyncEzy change table structure, and if so, how frequently? I understand that this could cause significant disruption to any data models and reporting that is generated.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Nick

Re: SyncEzy
Hi,
The structure of the simPRO API would not change (at least not without a version change to allow time for third party apps to adapt to those changes).
New fields/end-points are added as new features and the API functionality is expanded. These are non-breaking changes so their addition would not impact any existing integrations.
We cannot answer on behalf of sync-ezy so you would need to pose the same question to them.
simPRO builds are updated on a fortnightly basis with bug fixes and new features.
Is there any specific information that you are requesting to be exposed via the simPRO API?
