Scheduled hours vs actual hours worked for jobs and technicians

Post by sunnytang » Thu Oct 22, 2026 4:20 am

Hi,

I'm trying to compare scheduled hours vs actual hours worked for past jobs and also for technicians, and also note any discrepancies. I noticed that the /schedules and /timesheets endpoints seem to return the same values in terms of hours booked when looking at the previous week, and also seems to reflect the actual hours booked.

However, I'd like to get information about the hours originally scheduled for said past week. I can do this through the /jobs endpoint and looking at the Totals.ResourcesCost.LaborHours fields, comparing Actual vs Estimate. From what I could tell, these values seem to be an aggregate and does not seem to differentiate if different technicians were originally scheduled for the job. As such, if two different technicians were scheduled to work on the job, there would be no way to tell which technician worked the right amount of scheduled hours and which technician didn't.

1. Is the above correct?

2. Is the only alternative to fetch from the /jobWorkOrders/{jobWorkOrderID} endpoint individually, and then use the ScheduledHrs value?
3. Is there a more efficient way to doing this when fetching a week's worth of timesheets/schedules?

We also add a service fee with an associated labour hour to the cost centre, but I can't seem to find this in the /costCentre/.../serviceFee/{serviceFeeID} endpoint either.

4. Is there a way to get the labour hours associated with a service fee item?
