Incorrect Contractor Invoice Variance Tax Code Info

Post by JackEcuyer » Wed Feb 25, 2026 9:54 am

I'm retrieving a contractor invoice via the API

/contractorInvoices/{contractorInvoiceId}

There is a variance on the contractor invoice, that is clearly stated as using tax code with code 'T1' within Simpro, and the invoice totals correspond with this tax code.
However, the API returns this variance as having a tax code with code 'T30' and a different tax code ID. Unlike the T1 tax code, this T30 tax code is reverse VAT and is therefore causing incorrect tax calculations using the API response data.

Is there somewhere I can provide my build details as well as details of the contractor invoice so this issue can be investigated?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Jack,
Could you please raise a support ticket and include your build details along with the contractor invoice ID. We'll investigate the issue with the tax code discrepancy further.
