Adding tags to jobs in bulk

Post by GTacs » Tue Mar 19, 2024 10:04 am

Hi,

Our client utilises the built-in feature for bulk tag addition to jobs. We retrieve their data through the API and visualise it in Power BI. In our data extraction process, we consistently reference the 'date modified' field in every table, where available.

The issue with bulk tag addition to jobs lies in the fact that this procedure does not update the 'date modified' field for the job. Consequently, unless a job has been modified for another reason recently, we will not receive the updated tags via the job API.

Could you please consider updating the 'date modified' field when bulk tags are added to jobs?

This concern may extend to other areas of Simpro, such as quotes, leads, invoices etc.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Regards,
GT
