Native iOS App - Interface

Post by CAMPBELL » Wed Feb 26, 2020 12:12 pm

Hello,

I'd be really grateful if someone could help me.

A simPRO user has asked my company to interface a Native iOS App that provides the following functionality. Our app allows a Security System Installer to carry out a full site survey, risk assessment, specification and quotation, with pictures. From the app the surveyor can email their prospect with the documentation, and/or have them complete an agreement for an immediate sale. With other Security System Installers all the data the app gathers is uploaded to a Google Drive. Software running at the users office reads the Google Drive and renders the data into excel spreadsheets and word documents. This is then filed in the users backend system cabinets for onward use.

The simPRO user we are working with wants to do likewise. They want the mobile app to send the data and have it stored in the simPRO system. This is the upload.

Our process begins with a download, which is the New Enquiry details coming from simPRO to the app.

Here is where I'm looking for some information. Is there a working example available that demonstrates pulling New Enquiry type data from simPRO to a native iOS App. Also is there an example that demonstrates posting date back to simPRO from said iOS App?

If you can help.
Many thanks.
